Adobe 自去年宣佈不再推出基于流动设备上的 Flash Player 更新版本。而在刚刚推出搭载 Android 4.1 的 Google 7 吋平板电脑 Nexus 7 ，有人想到是否能够运行 Flash。但是，Adobe 已明确地否认，表示如果 Nexus 7 没有安装网页浏览器插件，Adobe 同样也帮不上忙。
此外，Adobe 还强调将在 8 月 15 日起停止为 Google Play 提供新安装的 Flash Player。而更新安装和其他重要的补丁，将继续对现有的用户开放。
但如果仍眷恋 Flash Player 的话，HTML5 便难以发展了。
